We produce high quality Biochar from forest waste.

What is Biochar?

Logging slash that makes biochar
Biochar is a light, porous byproduct produced when organic material is heated to high temperatures with limited oxygen. This process is called pyrolysis and forms a high-quality type of charcoal.
Biochar is like a sponge, an extremely porous carbon structure, with disproportionate amount of surface area making it the perfect substrate to build soil organic carbon, improve nutrient and water retention, boost microbial activity, mitigate soil compaction, reduce soil acidity, and increase food production while storing atmosphere carbon.

Why use Biochar?

Biochar was used for thousands of years by the ancient Amazonian people to improve soil quality. It has since been scientifically confirmed to build organic soil carbon, boost microbial activity, mitigate soil compaction, reduce soil acidity, filter soil water, improve water and nutrient retention, and increase food and crop production.
